How FitNtip Got Started
FitNtip started as a personal project born out of frustration with the overwhelming amount of misleading health and fitness content on the internet. Like many people, our founder spent years navigating through conflicting advice — one website claiming carbs were the enemy, another saying they were essential; one article promoting a miracle supplement, another warning about its dangers. The confusion was real, and it became clear that millions of people were facing the same problem.
The turning point came during a deep dive into PubMed and Google Scholar, where the actual scientific research told a very different story from what most popular health websites were sharing. The gap between what science actually says and what the internet promotes was staggering. This realization sparked an idea: what if someone created a platform that translates complex scientific research into simple, actionable health and fitness advice that real people can actually use?
That idea became FitNtip. What started as a small blog sharing evidence-based tips has grown into a comprehensive health and fitness resource with over 260 articles, 5 free fitness calculators, and a growing community of over 150,000 monthly readers. We're proud of how far we've come, but we're even more excited about where we're going. Every day, we continue to expand our content library, improve our tools, and find new ways to help our readers live healthier, more active lives.
