New virus 'Tomato flu' detected in India
India has discovered a new strain of the tomato-influenza virus. This virus is also known as "Tomato Flu" in India and has spread throughout the country.
The primary symptoms of tomato flu in children are fever, joint pain, and rashes. Other symptoms include nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
This disease, which appears to be a variant on Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease, (HFMD), is most common in children younger than 10 years old.
