Once you have gathered all of the ingredients, it is time to prepare them for cooking. Start by cutting the beef stew meat into cubes and season with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat and add the beef cubes. Cook until the beef is browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.
